TUITION

Fomkin Ballet Academy follows a structured seasonal schedule, running from mid-August 2024 through end-May 2025, similar to a school year. The following are the key policies concerning tuition and payments:

Season Schedule: August 19th, 2024 – May 31st, 2025

The tuition rates for the 2024-2025 period are based on the total number of classes attended per week by all students, averaged over the period, and exclude national holidays. The tuition remains constant regardless of the number of classes in a month. Payments are due monthly without exception.

Tuition Payment Policies:

• Due Date: Tuition fees are due on the 1st day of classes and 1st of each next month

• Payment Method: cash/check/PayPal/Zelle

• Late Fees: Tuition is due in advance. Payments made after the 3rd of the month will incur a $35 late fee.

• Non-Payment Consequences: Tuition more than 7 days past due may result in the student not being allowed to participate in classes.

• Performance Eligibility: All account charges, including tuition, must be paid in full for students to participate in performances or competitions.

• Monthly Charges: Tuition is charged monthly, regardless of the number of weeks in the month.

• No Proration: No prorating for months with fewer or extra weeks, nor for vacations or holidays, whether or not students attend the class.

• Multi-Student Discount: 2 and 3 child - 10%.

• Termination of Attendance: According to Fomkin Ballet Academy policy, written notification of termination of attendance must be given 4 weeks in advance. However, students under 6 may provide a 2-week notice of termination.

Account Management:

• Checking Balance: Families can check their balance due by logging into their account on the Family Portal or emailing.

• Payment Method: Families must keep an up-to-date electronic payment method on file in the Family Portal. However, payments can also be made by check issued to Fomkin Ballet Academy and returned to the studio. Please write the student's name and class on the back of the check to ensure proper credit to your account. A fifty-dollar ($50) fee will be charged for returned checks. All tuition/fees and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of circumstances, whether before, during, or after the program.

• Other fees:

FBA Show Participation Fee: $100-$150 per student

Private Lessons Fee:  $70-$120 for a 60-minute lesson for students registered at Fomkin Ballet Academy (additional studio rental fee is $30); $90-$150 for a 60-minute lesson for students not registered at Fomkin Ballet Academy (additional studio rental fee is $30). Students interested in joining the Fomkin Ballet Academy Competition Team may inquire about the Competition Contract.

TUITION 2024-2025

Ballet Beginner level: 2 classes a week - $199 monthly (drop-in fee - $30 per class)

Ballet 1 Junior (the entire program consisted of 9 hours a week): $608 (drop-in fee is possible by request - $60 per 1 day (according to the schedule))

“Ballet Barre & Grace” (18+) Los Gatos, Ca: drop-in fee - $60

“Ballet Barre & Grace” (18+) Cameron Park, Ca: drop-in fee - $30

Online group classes: single - $20, 10-classes package - $189, 30-classes package - $459, 1-month membership (unlimited attendance) - $349

• August 19th, 2024: 2024-25 Season Begins

• September 2nd, 2024: Labor Day - Studio Closed

• November 28th-30th, 2024: Thanksgiving Break - Studio Closed

• December 16th – 21st, 2024: Open Classes

• December 23rd, 2024 - January 5th, 2025: Winter Break - Studio Closed

• February 17th, 2025: Presidents Day

• April 14th - 19th, 2025: Spring Break - Studio Closed

• May 18th, 2025: Spring Showcase

• May 26th, 2025: Memorial Day - Studio Closed

• May 31st, 2025: Last Day of Classes

*Please note the dates for breaks and holidays, as the studio will be closed during those times.
