April-May 2025 Drop-In Ballet Classes

We are thrilled to announce our April-May 2025 Drop-In Classical Ballet Training Classes for Ballet Vaganova 1 (ages 7-10) and Intermediate Level (ages 11-15) students!

You must complete the registration form to sign up for the Ballet Vaganova 1 (ages 7-10) or Intermediate Level (ages 11-15) drop-in class. Simply complete the form, and we’ll get you started on your ballet journey!

Please note that the rates for these drop-in classes depend on the number of students attending. The pricing structure is as follows:

Ballet Vaganova 1 (ages 7-10) (60-minute sessions):

1 person (Private Lesson): $120
2 persons (Semi-Private Lesson): $60 per person
3 persons: $40 per person
4 persons or more: $35 per person

Intermediate Level (ages 11-15) (90-minute sessions):

1 person (Private Lesson): $120
2 persons: $60 per person
3 persons or more: $40 per person

All charges will be automatically prorated once students sign up for the drop-in class.

TUITION 2025-2026

Fomkin Ballet Academy follows a structured seasonal schedule, similar to a school year, from August 4, 2025, through May 30, 2026. The following are the key policies concerning tuition and payments:

Season Schedule: August 4th, 2025 – May 30th, 2026

The tuition rates for the 2025-2026 period are based on the total number of classes attended per week by all students, averaged over the period, and exclude national holidays. The tuition remains constant regardless of the number of classes in a month. Payments are due monthly without exception.

Tuition Payment Policies:

Payment options: Tuition fees for the academic year are due according to the following payment options:

Semester Payment Option: Full tuition for the semester is due before the start of each term.

Fall Semester: August 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025

Spring Semester: January 1, 2026 – May 31, 2026

Monthly Payment Option: Tuition may be paid in 10 equal monthly installments, starting in August 2025 and ending in May 2026. Payments are due by the 1st of each month.

Charter School Partnership and Tuition Coverage: Fomkin Ballet Academy is a community partner with various charter schools. Depending on the specific partnership agreements, the charter school may cover the tuition of homeschooled students. If you are a homeschooled student, we encourage you to request that your charter school accept us as a community partner so that your tuition fees may be covered. Please contact your school’s administration for further details on how to proceed with this request.

Due Dates:

Fall Semester: Due by August 1, 2025

Spring Semester: Due by January 1, 2026

Monthly Installments Due: Starting August 1, 2025, with each subsequent installment due on the 1st of each month until May 1, 2026.

Annual Registration fee: The non-refundable yearly registration fee for every enrolled student is $125.00. This fee helps cover the costs of maintaining and operating the registration system and supports administrative tasks associated with student enrollment and record-keeping. It is required to secure the student’s spot upon enrollment. The registration fee is due at enrollment and is non-refundable, regardless of subsequent withdrawal or absence.

There is no annual registration fee for adult classes.

The non-refundable registration fee for BALLET PERFORMANCE PARTICIPATION solely is $30.00. There is no additional registration fee for FBA-enrolled students. Space will be held for students upon payment of the registration fee.

Audition fee: A non-refundable audition fee of $40 applies to individuals auditioning for placement in Ballet Vaganova 2 and Folk Dance (Company). This fee must be paid prior to the audition. A free trial class is available for individuals seeking enrollment in Ballet Vaganova 1; no audition fee is required.

A non-refundable audition fee of $25 applies for individuals auditioning for Ballet Performance placement. This fee must be paid before the audition to secure your spot.

Please note that the audition fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Late Fees: Tuition is due in advance. Payments made after the 3rd of the month will incur a $35 late fee.
Non-Payment Consequences: If tuition is more than seven days past due, the student may not be allowed to participate in classes.
Performance Eligibility: All account charges, including tuition, must be paid in full for students to participate in performances or competitions.
Monthly Charges: The tuition rates for the 2025-2026 period reflect the total number of classes attended per week by all students, which is averaged over the period, excluding national holidays. The tuition remains the same regardless of the number of classes in a month. The payment is to be made monthly without exception.
No Proration: No prorating for months with fewer or extra weeks, nor for vacations or holidays, whether or not students attend the class. Notwithstanding the number of weeks in any given month, tuition fees shall be paid in equal, non-adjustable monthly installments. If a month contains fewer or more weeks than other months, the total tuition amount will remain unchanged, and the monthly payment will be consistent throughout the term. The amount due for each month will not vary based on the length of the month, ensuring equal and predictable costs for the duration of the agreement.
Multi-Student Discount: For households with multiple enrolled children, a 10% discount is applied to the tuition of all children.
Non-Refundable Tuition and Fees: All tuition and fees are non-refundable. Once payment has been made, no refunds will be issued for any reason, including, but not limited to, withdrawal, cancellation, or absence. This applies to the tuition amount and any additional fees associated with the program or services. Students and parents must review all terms and obligations carefully before enrollment.
Late Cancellations: All private lesson cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled lesson. A fee of 50% of the lesson cost will be charged for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the lesson.
No-Shows: Students who do not attend their scheduled lesson or rehearsal without prior notice will be charged the full lesson fee.
Termination of Attendance: According to Fomkin Ballet Academy enrollment policy, students are expected to commit to the entire school year upon enrollment. If you need to withdraw from classes, you commit to provide written notice at least 30 days before the desired withdrawal date. Ballet Performance Participants are expected to commit to the entire rehearsal cycle upon enrollment. If you need to withdraw from Ballet Performance Participation, you commit to provide written notice at least 14 days before the desired withdrawal date.
Late Drop-Out Penalty: Any student who withdraws from the program after completing the 30-day probation period following enrollment must pay a penalty fee equal to 100% of their monthly tuition. This fee is non-refundable and will be charged with any outstanding balances.

Account Management:

Checking Balance: Families can check their balance due by logging into their account on the Family Portal or emailing.
Payment Method: Families must keep an up-to-date electronic payment method on file in the Family Portal. However, payments can also be made by check issued to Fomkin Ballet Academy and returned to the studio. Please write the student’s name and class on the back of the check to ensure proper credit to your account. A fifty-dollar ($50) fee will be charged for returned checks. All tuition/fees and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of circumstances, whether before, during, or after the program.

FBA Show Participation Fee: A Show Participation fee of $150 per student is required for all students participating in ballet performances on stage. The fee must be paid in advance and no later than one month before the performance date. Failure to submit payment by the deadline will prevent participation in the performance.
Costume rental fee: The fee varies from $50 to $150, depending on the costume. It must be paid before renting the costume for the performance.
