2025-2026 School Year PLACEMENT AUDITION
Admission to Fomkin Ballet Academy is by audition only. Students will audition in a group based on age, and then accepted students will be placed in either Vaganova Ballet 1, Vaganova Ballet 2, or Folk Dance (Company) based on their technical ability.

Students should audition with the age group based on their age.

Please email us (fomkinballetacademy@gmail.com) if you have any questions regarding placement. Once you are positioned correctly, you will be sent an invitation to register for class through the Family Portal. Students will be promoted/placed in class/program according to their progress and ability, not grade and age alone.
Please take note of the following dress code for the audition:
- Girls should wear a leotard of any color, along with pink ballet shoes and tights.
- Boys are expected to wear a solid-colored leotard or fitted T-shirt, black or grey tights, and black or white ballet shoes.
- Students who do not identify as male or female can choose from the above options.
- Please avoid wearing warm-ups, skirts, or baggy clothing.
