The 2026-2027 school year at Fomkin Ballet Academy runs from September 8, 2026, to June 26, 2027.
Admission to Fomkin Ballet Academy is by audition only. Students will audition in a group based on age, and then accepted students will be placed in either
based on their technical ability.
New students interested in enrolling in classes for the 2026-2027 school year at Fomkin Ballet Academy are welcome to complete the APPLICATION (online form) and pay a $40 application fee. Please get in touch with us by email (fomkinballetacademy@gmail.com) if you have any application questions.

All prospective students (age 10 and above) are required to undergo a PLACEMENT AUDITION to ensure they are correctly placed within our programs. The faculty at Fomkin Ballet Academy thoroughly evaluates all aspects before accepting students into any of our divisions. You will be invited to the audition after submitting the application. The location is 99 Notre Dame Ave, San Jose, CA 95113.
The non-refundable audition fee for each person is $50 (can be paid online)
Please take note of the following dress code for the audition:
– Girls should wear a leotard of any color, along with pink ballet shoes and pink tights. Pointe shoes are also required for auditions.
– Boys are expected to wear a solid-color leotard or a fitted T-shirt, black or grey tights, and black or white ballet shoes.
– Students who do not identify as male or female are free to choose from any of the above options.
– Please avoid wearing warm-ups, skirts, or baggy clothing.
Once the audition is completed, all audition participants will receive the proper invitations with the link to register.
All the FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
Students will be promoted/placed in class/program according to their progress and ability, rather than grade and age alone.
